I am a Ball Python.
How long can you get?
I can get up to 5 feet.

I am a boy(male)
What is your birthday?
I know I was born sometime shortly before October 1st, 2020 but I don’t know the exact date. So we celebrate my birthday on October 1st.
Are Ball Pythons like yourself native to the Americas?
No we are native to Sub Saharan Africa.
Where were you born?
I was born in the United States but I actually don’t know where.
Do you bite or strike people?
No I don’t but I am special. You should always assume another snake will strike in order to protect itself.
How do you protect yourself if you don’t strike?
I will either try to get away(1st option) or (2nd option) I roll myself up in a ball and tuck my head inside so you cant see it.
How long can you live?
I can live up to 35 years. My buddies in the wild can live up to 30 years.
Why do you shed your skin?
Two Reasons. First as my body grows my skin doesn’t so I need to discard the old layer. Second it helps remove parasites that could be harmful.
How often do you shed?
I shed about every 30 days. As I get older I will continue to shed but not as frequently.

What do you eat?
I eat mice.
How often do you eat?
It varies but the average is about once a week.
How many mice do you eat at a time?
I had been eating two mice per meal until August 7th, 2022 (Sunday) I upped the ante to 4 mice a meal. Then my doctor said I was overweight. Now I am on a diet of 2 mice every 10 days(doctors orders).
